Minimum Requirements for Affiliation
Authorised study centres must offer a safe, dignified learning environment. The checklist below is the minimum physical setup and staffing MPYPCP expects before affiliation is considered. Additional norms may apply for specific programmes.
Training hall / classroom — minimum 1,000 sq. ft.
One continuous teaching area (not split across unrelated floors or buildings) for theory, demonstration, and practical training. Well ventilated and lit; clean floor suitable for yoga / practicals; whiteboard or equivalent; seating or mat layout as per course. Minimum 1,000 sq. ft. carpet area for this main room.
Washroom / sanitation
Functional, hygienic toilets for trainees and staff (male / female as applicable), with running water. Maintain cleanliness and basic hygiene at all times.
Qualified teacher / faculty — minimum one
At least one qualified instructor, aligned with the MPYPCP course(s) you offer, present regularly for teaching, practicals, and student guidance. More faculty may be required as batches grow or per programme rules.
Other basics (expected)
Safe drinking water, first-aid kit, stable electricity, visible centre signage, and compliance with local safety and fire norms where applicable.
Final suitability is verified during inspection / documentation review. Dimensions and facilities should match what you declare in the application form.
